Trip Data

We store the trips, legs, locations, tags, notes, itineraries, and other content you create within PlanGoGo. This data is necessary to provide the Service and is accessible only to you and any collaborators you invite.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We only store Stripe customer and payment IDs to manage your purchases and subscription status.

Files and Attachments

If you upload photos, documents, or other files to your trips, we store those files securely to provide the Service. Files are accessible only to you and your trip collaborators.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your browsing activity outside of PlanGoGo
• We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers
• We do not use your trip data for advertising purposes
• We do not read your trip content for any purpose other than providing the Service

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the PlanGoGo service
• Authenticate your account and manage sessions
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Enable collaborative features such as trip sharing and invitations
• Provide AI-powered features such as Instagram content analysis and location suggestions

AI Integrations

PlanGoGo supports integration with AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When you connect an AI tool, it may access your trip data (trips, legs, locations, tags) to help you plan. This access is initiated by you and governed by the AI tool's own privacy policy.

When you share Instagram or TikTok links, we may use AI to analyze the content and suggest place names and tags. The shared URL and extracted metadata are processed to provide this feature.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Clerk: For account authentication and user management
• Stripe: For payment processing
• Google Cloud Platform: For hosting and data storage
• Google Maps Platform: For location search, maps, and place data

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
